Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Victoria Cartagena is a pretty lady of Puerto Rican descent and Penn State lineage. The Nittany Lion moved to New York City after graduation looking to become an actress. She landed on the stage and had a brief role as a “feisty latina” in Baby Fat (2004), but it’s her work on the sexy series The Bedford Diaries that’ll have you tripping the light fantastic. In the Penn Badgley starring NYC based college drama that aired on the WB, Victoria played Zoe Lopez, a virgin who talks dirty but hasn’t actually done the deed. But that description doesn’t doesn’t last much longer than the average first time fella can, since we pretty quickly get to see Victoria in her underwear as Zoe does that sensational college experimentation that keeps the student loan industry thriving. After all, who thinks about interest rates when there’s that kind of X rated activity to keep a student’s interest? But Victoria is probably best known for chasing down costumed supervillains as Major Crimes detective Renee Montoya on Gotham. Victoria was Paco’s mom Claudia when she reteamed with Penn Badgley on You and currently plays Lourdes on NBC’s airplane mystery Manifest, but didn’t do anything sexual until she started playing Amanda Doherty on Almost Family. In that drama about a fertility doctor who used his own seed to make all sorts of babies, she makes out with Megalyn Echikunwoke in a luscious bit of lesbian action that never lets us see past the bra stage.
